Aberdeen's Hydrogen Strategy unveiled

Aberdeen's plans to create a hydrogen economy in the Granite City, securing its place as a centre of excellence in hydrogen technologies were unveiled this morning.
Come and celebrate the completion of the recently restored and improved Duthie Park on Sunday 30 June at 12noon-4pm. Bring along your picnic blanket to take in some music at the bandstand, take a tour round the park in a traditional horse and cart or let the kids burn off some energy on the bungee jump trampoline or in the new play park. Join us to pay tribute to our veterans and serving armed forces on Saturday 29 June. Members of the Armed Forces, past and present, come together in a parade to highlight the diversity and uniqueness of our service personnel and veterans. Massed pipes and drums, over 40 veteran associations, serving personnel from the Army, The Royal Air Force and The Royal Navy, Sea, Army and Air Cadets and military vehicles will feature in a parade down Union Street at 11am. Armed Forces Day.
The team behind Aberdeen's bid to be UK City of Culture in 2017 ran a photography competition. The winners, runners up and all 330 entries will be exhibited at Seventeen, Belmont Street between May 31st and June 16th. In the meantime you can see all the entries here aberdeen2017pics.
