Celebrate spring by hearing Aberdeen Art Gallery’s first Artist in Residence Maja Zećo talk about finding inspiration in Eastre, the Saxon goddess who represents the triumph of the sun after the gloom of winter.
Maja is an interdisciplinary artist who creates immersive art through performance, sound art, video and installation. Maja will be in residence until the end of May and the In Conversation sessions, in April and May, are a fantastic opportunity to hear her talk about her residency and to ask questions about her work. Maja will be joined by Art Curator Griffin Coe, who will share his thoughts on the artwork Eastre, Hymn to the Sun by JD Fergusson.
