Virtual Lunchbreak Concert
Just before the reopening of Aberdeen Art Gallery in 2019, Joseph Long, one of Scotland’s leading pianists, set himself a challenge - to play each of Mozart’s 18 piano concertos in the Cowdray Hall in a series of concerts, planned to span the next three years.
Plans have had to change in the meantime, but we are delighted that Joseph is able to begin the Mozart series this month with a recording of Mozart’s C Minor Fantasy and Sonata, made in 2016. Joseph was delighted that this recording was one of his best and to accompany it has created a new introduction for audiences listening from home.
