Online Talk by Josie Steed, Fashion and Textile Researcher at Robert Gordon University.
Josie introduces her research called 'Augmented Fashion' working in partnership with academics at Donghua University in Shanghai. They explore how interactive and immersive technologies can be used, to inform and educate about the heritage and value of traditional artisan textile and craft skills both in the UK, specifically Scotland and in China, where both countries have long histories and cultural traditions related to textile making.
