Access to Leisure

Access to Leisure has changed.

From 1 April 2022, the way in which customers access discounted leisure/ sporting activities and out of school care is changing in Aberdeen. The organisations previously offering Access to Leisure discounts (Aberdeen City Council, Sport Aberdeen and Aberdeen Sports Village) now operate their own concessionary schemes.

Please visit Sport Aberdeen and Aberdeen Sports Village to check the availability and application process for discount on leisure and sporting activities.

Information on who is entitled to discounted child-care offered by Aberdeen City Council and what evidence is required to prove this can be found here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Changes to the way in which National Entitlement Cards (also known as the Accord Card) are being produced mean that Access to Leisure can no longer be carried on the National Entitlement Card. Therefore, a new way for customers to access leisure and sporting discounts needed to be implemented and this opportunity has been taken for each organisation to review their discount scheme’s to ensure they are targeted on those that would benefit most from these services.
