Small and medium-sized businesses across Aberdeen are being encouraged to take part in a new programme to help use artificial intelligence (AI).
Aberdeen City Council has partnered with CodeBase, a tech ecosystem support organisation, to offer an AI programme for local small and medium sized businesses to improve their productivity, reduce costs and make data-driven decisions.
Aberdeen City Council Co-Leader Councillor Ian Yuill said: “This programme will enable small and medium-sized businesses from across Aberdeen to discover a new way to work as well as benefitting the local economy by supporting their growth.”
The programme is free to attend for businesses who meet the qualifying criteria, and will take place between January and March 2025.
To attend, businesses must have five employees or more, and revenue in excess of £500,000.
The programme has been jointly funded by Aberdeen City Council and the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
CodeBase works with business startups to grow and delivers expert educational programmes, as well as offering startup incubation spaces, with one having opened in Aberdeen in 2019.
Applications to attend are open until Monday 9th December and be submitted online via the CodeBase website.
