This year, Linden was awarded a NESMS scholarship in piano and the Gladys Sangster award for clarinet.

Zhaohong began his piano journey in 2019 at the age of seven and has steadily grown as a musician through both hard work and passion.
In 2022, he won the Piano Solo Baroque 12 & Under category at the Aberdeen and North East of Scotland Music Festival. His success continued in 2023 with the Alice Law Prize for Grade 7-8 at the same festival, alongside a distinction in his Trinity Grade 8 piano exam.
That year, he also received the Gladys Sangster Award scholarship at the North East of Scotland Music School (NESMS) and distinguished himself as the youngest finalist from Aberdeen in the Scottish Young Musician competition.
In 2024, Zhaohong earned the Junior Scottish Young Musician title for Aberdeen City Council and was awarded the Tom and Cath Johnston Award scholarship at NESMS.
