Awaiting Demolition

A property owned by a local authority or registered social landlord, which is unoccupied pending demolition, is exempt from Council Tax. The property may remain furnished, however if the property is occupied it will not qualify for the exemption. 

How to apply

You need to apply in writing for this exemption. Confirmation from the local authority/ registered social landlord that the property is awaiting demolition will need to be provided.
