Parks and Gardens

Aberdeen has a wide range of beautiful parks and green spaces. They all have facilities and features for all ages whether you wish to enjoy hobbies, sport, play, or relax.

Aberdeen is a ‘city in bloom’ and its reputation as floral capital of Scotland has spread across the world via its horticultural displays and awards from national and international competitions.

In total, Aberdeen has 14 public parks and gardens as well as countryside parks, nature reserves, trails, and 3,000 acres of publicly-owned accessible woodlands.

Many of these areas are included in our free-to-download trail guides at Free walks and trails in Aberdeen | Aberdeen City Council
