Report overgrown shrubs and hedges

We prune shrubs and hedges in public areas between November and March each year. We don't prune every shrub bed each year, but we do cut back any shrubs overhanging paths and pavements. We remove weeds from the beds during November and March and spray them with herbicide during the summer months to prevent excessive growth.

You can report overgrown shrubs and hedges online.
