The new Tillydrone Community Campus was officially opened in August 2019. The campus brings together a range of services to support the community including existing community organisations such as The Lighthouse, M26, and a range of council services.
As well as providing vital services to those most in need, the campus also includes a library, crèche, cafe, and rooms for classes and activities. The regeneration work in the heart of the community will also include the demolition of the housing office to improve parking and loading arrangements in the area.
Aberdeen City Council committed £4.1 million towards the complex, while a further £1.9 million grant was received from the Scottish Government’s Regeneration Capital Grant Fund.
