How we use your information
Aberdeen City Council collects, maintains and automatically processes information about you for the purposes of processing and determining planning applications, and this data may be used for consultation purposes.
This information can include your name, address, telephone number, signature, and email address, This information may be provided to us by an agent submitting an application on your behalf.
In order to assist us in keeping information accurate and up to date, the applicant and, where applicable, the agent should notify us immediately of any changes to the information which has been entered on the Planning Application Form.
The Planning Application and supporting documents may be viewed by members of the public at our offices, as required in terms of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 and supporting regulations.
The information which has been provided on the Planning Application Form and the supporting documents is published on our website for the purpose of viewing applications, advertising weekly planning lists, and other information.
Information will be shared only in accordance with the requirements of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 or otherwise as required by law, including disclosure to other agencies for example Fire, Police, Scottish Natural Heritage, Historic Scotland) as required for the purposes of determining this application.
How long we keep your information for
