Adult Support and Protection Module 4

** This course is for professionals only working within Aberdeen City Council Health and Social Care Partnership (Scotland UK)**

This is 1 day course with mandatory pre course reading that covers in detail the statutory duties and powers Council Officers have under the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007. Staff will learn in detail about the powers of visits, interviews, medical examinations and the protection orders that can be used. Completion of this course will qualify staff as Council Officers as per the Adult Protection legislation and Codes of Practice. This course has also been adapted to MS teams and will either be held via Microsoft Team or in person.

NOTE: It is a prerequisite for Module 4 training that you have already attended BOTH Module 2 and Module 3 courses.
