North-bound city centre road to close while repairs are carried out to burst water main

The north-bound lane on Powis Terrace is to close from 9am on Friday 12 May due to a burst water main.

The problem has happened on Powis Terrace near the junction with Bedford Road and motorists are asked to find alternative routes although a local diversion will be in place.

In particular, football fans attending the Aberdeen-Celtic match at Pittodrie tomorrow evening should be aware it is extremely likely the closure will be in place then.

There will be lane closures on George Street and Powis Place during the repair works.
