Private hire vehicles can now use the Bedford busgate

Private hire vehicles can now use the busgate on Bedford Road along with buses and taxis.

Signs have been put up informing drivers of the change.

Aberdeen City Council transport spokesperson Councillor Sandra Macdonald said: “We are pleased that private hire vehicles will now be able to use the busgate on Bedford Road along with taxis and buses.”

Aberdeen City Council changed the traffic restriction order for the busgate after the move was agreed at operational delivery committee and statutory consultations were carried out.
