Public opinion sought on proposed parking changes

17 May 2016

Public opinion is being sought on proposed changes to three city car parks.

Aberdeen’s City Council’s Communities, Housing and Infrastructure Committee have today (17 May) agreed to seek wider public opinion on the introduction of parking charges and time limits at three city car parks.

It is proposed that parking charges of £1.00 for a maximum stay of two hours are introduced on Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm in Crombie Road car park in Torry; Dunmail Avenue car park in Cults and Station Road car park in Bucksburn.

Holders of a valid Disabled Persons’ Badge (the ‘Blue Badge’) would be exempt from both the charge and length of stay.
