31 May 2016

Youth Activities Small Grants Fund for Young People in Aberdeen.

The second round of funding for the Youth Activities Small Grants Fund will close on 7 June 2016.

Groups of children and young people can apply for funding of up to £1,500 to help them develop and to take part in activities that might not otherwise be available for them.

The fund is open to voluntary organisations, community and school groups working with children and young people aged 12-25 years who live in Aberdeen and are working on new projects.

Applications will be considered and decisions made by members of the Aberdeen City Youth Council and local Councillors.

Aberdeen City Council Depute Leader Councillor Marie Boulton said “Aberdeen City Council recognises the importance of allowing the youth of Aberdeen to contribute to the life of their community and city. This grant gives them the opportunity to gain confidence and learn new skills.”
