New website launched as gateway to improved digital services for residents

29 November 2017

Aberdeen City Council has today launched a new and improved website.

The new site makes it easier for residents to access information about key services and features new tools such as reporting missed bin collections, a new language tool for those who do not speak English as a first language and more robust security arrangements.

The site has been developed with input from staff across the Council and with residents to ensure it is as simple and easy as possible to use.

Over the next few months, more and more services will be available online and the website will become a platform where many customers can carry out and manage their business online quickly, easily and at any time of day or night.

The website will offer residents the flexibility to manage their needs when and how they choose to.

Improvements will continue to be made to the site as the Council gathers more and more feedback through engagement with staff, residents and businesses on the services that could be offered digitally.
