Aberdeen City Council seeks the People’s Champion

Aberdeen City Council would like to hear from the public about Council staff member or the Council team that they think have excelled in their role and would be worthy of the title People’s Champion.
The People’s Champion Award is part of the Council’s annual Star Awards event which recognises the achievements of projects, teams and individuals within the organisation.
The Council is keen to hear about the street cleaners, gardeners, housing officers, teachers, road workers, family services, customer care staff or any Aberdeen City Council employee who has gone above and beyond their job to make a genuine difference to someone’s life, or community.
Angela Scott, Chief Executive, Aberdeen City Council said: “Our employees are proud to work for the people of Aberdeen and we hope the public will take this opportunity to recognise the work they do for the city and nominate their People’s Champion.”
To nominate please download the submission form and email to star@aberdeencity.gov.uk or post to Star Awards, Business Hub 2, Lower Ground Floor North, Marischal College, AB10 1AB.
Nominations must be submitted by 12noon on Friday 26 April 2019.
The Star Awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 20 June at Aberdeen Beach Ballroom.
