Aberdeenshire: A New Perspective tour returns to Aberdeen libraries
08 January 2018
Aberdeen City Council libraries will host a series of free talks across the city by internationally acclaimed local photographer Andy Hall.
Following his successful, fascinating and entertaining talk at the Central Library in October, Andy returns at 2pm on Monday 22 January when he visits Bucksburn Library as part of his tour to talk about his new book : Aberdeenshire: A New Perspective.
The new book includes captivating images as varied as sunrise at Cruden Bay to the lights of Union Street from a unique angle. The illustrated talk includes musical accompaniment from Paul Anderson.
Andy said: “I am very proud of this new book, my seventh. It has given me the opportunity to explore my home area with my camera and remind myself of how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful part of Scotland.”
Further talks are scheduled for 2.30pm at Cove Library on Monday 26 February and Airyhall Library on Wednesday 28 February at 5.45 pm.
Each talk is an hour long, including a question and answer slot, followed by a book signing. Books will be available to purchase on the day.
