Business Improvement District ballot result

The Aberdeen City Centre Business Improvement District (BID) proposals for 2021-2026 have been approved by the BID ballot which closed on 24 June 2021.
Eligible voters (non-domestic ratepayers) voted in favour of the BID proposals, which were produced by Aberdeen Inspired. The relevant BID arrangements will come into force on 1 July 2021 for a period of five years.
The purpose of the BID arrangements is to enable specified projects to be carried out for the benefit of the city centre.
The result is as follows:

Representing: 796 relevant properties
Number of YES votes - 267
Number of NO votes - 33
Total number of invalid votes – 11
