Consultation begins on Cordyce School

01 September 2017

A public consultation on proposals to close Cordyce School permanently begins this week.

The school currently has no pupils on its roll as a result of a transformation in teaching children and young people with mental, emotional and social support needs in mainstream schools.

The consultation runs until 5pm on Friday 13 October and issues raised during the process will be included in a report which will be presented to the Education and Children’s Services committee in January 2018.

A public meeting to discuss the proposals will take place on Wednesday 20 September from 7pm to 8pm at Bucksburn Academy.

Any interested stakeholders may respond to the consultation online, via the Council’s Consultation Hub: https://consultation.aberdeencity.gov.uk/
