Council to host hospitality sector webinar
19 April 2021
Aberdeen City Council’s Environmental Health and Trading Standards teams are hosting a webinar for the hospitality sector ahead of a planned easing of COVID-19 restrictions.
The hour-long event will take place on Wednesday 21st April at 11am and will cover significant rule changes as well as a reminder of some of the main issues that remain unchanged.
Earlier this month the Scottish Government announced that hospitality can start to resume trading from Monday 26th April. The legislation has not yet been published, but Scottish Government published guidance on Friday 16th April.
Presentations during the webinar will last up to a total of 30 minutes, with 30 minutes being allowed for any questions.
On the day members of the hospitality sector can click here to join from 10.45am.
Attendees can submit questions during the briefing and officers will answer as many as they can within the time available, and follow up any extra questions.
The webinar will be recorded and available on our website afterwards.
Please note, it is possible that the rules could still change ahead of 26th, so please check the city council’s website. We aim to update our information as soon as possible in response to Scottish Government announcements.
