Harlaw Academy arts exhibition goes on display this week

04 September 2017
The Expressive Arts Faculty of Harlaw Academy in partnership with the gallery space 17 in Belmont Street, are presenting an exhibition of the school’s senior pupil’s artwork.
This work on display in the city centre gallery shows a variety of personal projects that reflect individual visual styles. The work has been selected from both Advanced Higher and Portfolio projects.
Drew McIntyre, Principal Teacher in Harlaw Academy’s Expressive Arts Faculty said: “The opportunity to present this work in a professional gallery setting is a great way to celebrate our pupil’s success. It also provides the school with a way to share some of our high quality learning with the wider community.
“This will allow younger students an opportunity to visit the exhibition, which in turn could lead to increased engagement and ambition within their own creative work in school.”
The Exhibition will run from Friday 8 September till Saturday 30 September during normal opening hours at 17.
