New 40mph sections for the A944 and B9119 become operational on Monday

15 September 2017

The remaining 50mph sections of the A944 and B9119 road in Aberdeen will be subject to a 40mph speed limit from Monday (18 September 2017).

The reduced speed limit was agreed at Aberdeen City Council’s Communities, Housing and Infrastructure Committee in January.

The change means the A944 and B9119 between Westhill and the 30mph limit on Lang Stracht and Skene Road will have a continuous 40mph speed limit.
