Nominations sought for Aberdeen community council by-elections

Nominations for two Aberdeen community council by-elections will close on 16 November 2017.

Members will be elected to the Castlehill and Pittodrie Community Council as well as the Garthdee Community Council on 14 December 2017.

Polling will take place between 8am and 8pm on 14 December, unless the number of candidates falls between the minimum and maximum total membership of each Community Council. In those circumstances all those nominated will be elected.

Nominations must be lodged by 4pm on 16 November and can be withdrawn up to 4pm on 22 November. Forms and information on boundaries are available from the Community Council Liaison Officer on 01224 522723.

Nomination forms are also available from the reception desks at the Town House and Marischal College, the Central Library and all branch libraries as well as online here.
