Procurement event: Framework Agreements – how to tender for larger contracts as a small supplier
23 November 2017
Small suppliers will be given an insight into opportunities to win a share of large public contracts through Framework Agreements at a business event in Aberdeen next month.
Framework Agreements allow more than one supplier to deliver goods, services and works rather than a single supplier contract and may create further opportunities for smaller businesses to participate in large contracts.
To tender to join a Framework a very similar process is followed to that of a single source contract.
On Wednesday, 11 December, a frameworks event hosted by Aberdeen City Council will give an overview of how agreements are set up and operated, how a Framework Agreement compares to other contract types and how suppliers may be able to participate.
Zoe Shankley, guest speaker from Scotland Excel, will be on hand to answer and queries about Framework Agreements. She will be joined by Bo Symonowicz from the Council’s commercial and procurement services.
The event will take place on Wednesday, 11 December, at the Town House from 11am until 2pm.
