Public meeting to be held in Kingswells for update on bus services

A meeting organised by Aberdeen City Council is to be held in Kingswells to update residents on bus services to the area.

The event which is open to everyone to attend will also offer a chance for members of the public to ask questions.

Aberdeen City Council’s Finance, Policy and Resources committee agreed last week (9 March 2017) the Crematorium Bus Service will also be a shuttle service connecting Kingswells Village with Kingswells Park and Ride, with an additional amendment that this service would continue on to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. This service 94 shuttle bus will be in place for one financial year.

It was also agreed the City Council would further investigate options to providing bus services in Kingswells. A report will be brought to the appropriate committee to provide an update and/or to seek approval for service provision.
