Retail in the spotlight at Business Booster event

The importance of effective merchandising in the retail sector will be the focus when Aberdeen City Council hosts the latest in a series of Business Booster events.
The session on Tuesday (22 January) will be held at Marischal College from 12-2pm and led by guest speaker Jackie Allen on behalf of Business Gateway.
Key themes will include the role of merchandising in enhancing customer experience, the motivation behind customer loyalty, the importance of visual merchandising in maximising retail space, making the most of promotions, brand development and digital merchandising.
Cllr Douglas Lumsden, Aberdeen City Council Co-Leader and Convener of the City Growth and Resources Committee, said: “Retail is a vital component of our vision for a vibrant and prosperous city. As a Council we’re committed to supporting the sector and the Business Booster event promises to provide valuable insight.
