St Peter’s School public consultation gets underway

A statutory public consultation on the future of St Peter’s School gets underway on Monday (4 February).
Aberdeen City Council is asking people for their views on its proposal to relocate St Peter’s School from its current location into the existing Riverbank School building after the new replacement Riverbank School has opened with effect from August 2022.
The consultation will end at 5pm on Friday 22 March and will include the following public meetings:
Monday 4 March 2019 – St Peter’s School from 2-3pm Monday 4 March 2019 – Riverbank School from 7-8pm Wednesday 13 March 2019 – St Columba’s Church, Bridge of Don at 7-8pmCouncillor John Wheeler, Education Operational Delivery Convener, said: “We believe that our proposal represents a significant move towards securing the long-term future of St Peter’s School in an enhanced environment for pupils and staff alike.
“We look forward to meeting with all interested parties and to hearing their views on our proposal”.
The survey and proposal document are available on the Aberdeen City Council website.
