Temporary traffic restrictions for Remembrance Sunday

Temporary traffic restrictions will be in place for Aberdeen's Remembrance Day parade on Sunday 08 November.

The restrictions are as follows:

From 9.30am until 10.40am and from 1pm until 2.15pm:

Don Street, Old Aberdeen will be closed between Lord Hay's Road and St Machar Drive;

St Machar Drive will be closed between its junctions with Dunbar Street.

The Chanonry and College Bounds will be closed between its junctions with Meston Walk and University Road. An alternative route will be available via King Street, Mounthooly, Causewayend, Powis Place, Powis Terrace and Great Northern Road.

From 10am until 11am:

From 10am until 12noon:

From 10.15am until 10.45am:

North Deeside Road, Peterculter, Aberdeen will be closed between Brighton Place and Craigton Crescent. An alternative route will be available via North Deeside Road, Contlaw Road and Malcolm Road.

From 11am until 3pm:

From 11.30am until 12noon:

Belmont Street will be closed between Schoolhill and Union Street.

From 11.40am until 12.30pm:

Union Street will be closed between Union Terrace and Broad Street.

From 12noon until 12.30pm:

Broad Street will be closed between Union Street and Queen Street.

From 12noon until 1pm:

Queen Street will be closed from its junction with Broad Street. An alternative route will be available via Union Terrace, Union Street, King Street, West North Street and Gallowgate.

These temporary traffic restrictions are necessary to ensure public safety.
