The Godfather Of Rock: Tales from inside the world of rock music with Tom Russell

Stopping off in Aberdeen as part of his book tour, Rock DJ and music legend, Tom Russell will visit Aberdeen Central Library on Wednesday 18 October from 6.30pm to talk about his latest book: The Godfather of Rock.

Tom’s book is a fantastic collection of memories full of the mayhem and mischief that surrounds the world of rock covering 4 decades of a life in the rock music scene.

With over 35 years in the music industry working with some of the biggest names in business including Thin Lizzy; Iron Maiden; Ozzy Osbourne; Def Leppard and AC/DC to name but a few, Tom will be sharing some of his unique tales about a life in rock music and the people he’s met along the way. Tom has many a tale to tell and his talk is sure to entertain anyone with an interest in the Scottish Rock music scene and beyond.

This hour long event, which forms part of the libraries’ ‘Read the Past – Imaging the Future’ reading campaign, will include a Q+A and will be followed by a book signing with his books available to purchase at the event.
