Traffic signals to be replaced at major junction beside Aberdeen Royal Infirmary

18 October 2018
Works are starting on Monday (22 October 2018) to replace and upgrade the traffic signals at the Ashgrove Road West/Forresterhill Road junction.
While the works are ongoing, there will be temporary traffic lights in place as the existing lights will be switched off.
From 15 November for two weeks, buses and other large vehicles will be unable to take access to and Forresterhill Road from Ashgrove Road West to allow local widening works to be carried out on Forresterhill Road which will improve the accessibility to the hospital site for public transport operators.
The works at the junction are due to last for approximately seven weeks and while it is appreciated that they may cause a degree of inconvenience, every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum. Motorists are asked to avoid the area if at all possible.
