Two webinars for hospitality sector for help with statutory guidance to reopen safely

Aberdeen City Council, Police Scotland, and NHS Grampian’s Public Health team have planned two webinars for representatives of the hospitality sector in Aberdeen to provide an overview of the requirements of the regulations and statutory guidance which they will need to follow to ensure they reopen safely.

The webinars will be held at 2pm today (Friday 21 August) and on Monday (24 August). The content of both the webinars is the same.

The webinar will be hosted by Marie Boulton, convenor of the Licensing Board, and there will be speakers from Aberdeen City Council's Protective Services team, the licensing and city centre policing teams from Police Scotland, and a representative from NHS Grampian Public Health.

Aberdeen City Council city growth chief officer Richard Sweetnam will also give a presentation on the new grant scheme available to hospitality businesses.

The webinar is scheduled for 1.5hrs with the opportunity to submit questions at the end.
