Union Terrace Gardens closed for SPECTRA set up

Union Terrace Gardens will be partially closed at the beginning of February to welcome Spectra, Aberdeen’s Festival of Light to the city.

To accommodate the installations Union Terrace Garden will be partially closed as follows: from Thursday 4th to Monday 8th February the stairways to the lower part of the gardens will be closed and monitored to allow for the initial preparation of installation.

Monday 8th to 11th will see the gardens fully closed to allow for the full installation of the exhibits and the gardens will reopen the evening of the 11th for the live event, through to the 14th.

Union Terrace Gardens will be closed again on the 15th – 16th February to allow for removal of the exhibits.
