The James Hutton Institute and the Scottish Geology Trust (SGT) are hosting a joint event, in Aberdeen, and thought it might be of interest to you.

‘A conversation on James Hutton: the man and his legacy' with Alan McKirdy, will launch the 2022 Scottish Geology Festival. The event will provide an insight into Scotland's fascinating geological past, present and future, discussing James Hutton's work and legacy of challenging conventional thinking which underpins the work of the James Hutton Institute today. It will be hosted by the Institute in Aberdeen (Craigiebuckler) and the Scottish Geology Trust (SGT) on 1st September, from 4:00-6:30 pm.
