Aberdeen Lord Provost, Dr David Cameron said: “The ‘Christmas in Aberdeen’ festivities always promises to be a truly magical time of year, with a fantastic events line-up returning to the city to provide some welcome cheer and celebration.
“There is something for everyone, particularly families with the Christmas Lights Switch-on Parade and new QR code trail. But importantly, it encourages people into the city centre to boost the leisure and business economies. I am looking forward to all the celebrations that ‘Christmas in Aberdeen’ will offer.”
Adrian Watson, Chief Executive of Aberdeen Inspired, said: "We are looking forward to bringing festive cheer to the city centre with the welcome return of the Christmas Village and the ever-growing Curated in the Quad market at Marischal College.
“We’re pleased to be working in partnership with Aberdeen City Council and Codona's to deliver another exciting Christmas Village and with the wonderful Charlie House charity to make Curated In The Quad a very special festive market. Both of these very special attractions will very much enhance Aberdeen’s wider festive offering."
