Potential candidates and agents for the Aberdeen City wards in the Local Government (Council) elections are being invited to attend a briefing session via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday 08 March at 10am.
The Local Government (Council) elections will be held on Thursday 05 May 2022 to elect ward members to the 32 local authorities across Scotland. There are 13 multi-member wards in Aberdeen City and 45 councillors will be elected.
The virtual briefing session will cover arrangements for the election, including nominations, postal voting, polling day and the count.

The election count and declaration of Aberdeen City ward results will take place on Friday 6 May 2022.
