Options for denominational education to be considered

Aberdeen City Council will assess long-term options for providing denominational primary schools.

A meeting of Full Council agreed a report that had been referred to Full Council from the Education and Children’s Services Committee on 17 September.

Officers had recommended that the Council continues “to monitor forecast pupil numbers for the three denominational primary schools” and to include recommendations in next year’s annual school estate plan to ensure that “the expected demand for pupil places” is met appropriately.
