ReciteMe
ReciteMe is a Website Accessibility Assistive Toolbar present on most pages of the Aberdeen City Council website. It is not currently available on certain forms. It allows website users to customise the content so that they can consume it in ways that work best for them. The Recite Me toolbar provides text to speech functionality, fully customisable styling features, reading aids and a translation tool with over 100 languages, including 35 text to speech voices and many other features.

Translation, Interpreting and Communication Support Services
Aberdeen City Council has access to translation, interpreting (in person or telephone-based interpretation service using interpreters who speak your native language) and communication support services including BSL Interpreters. For those customers requiring this service for a meeting with an Aberdeen City Council employee, please advise them of your requirement in advance to allow them to arrange this.
British Sign Language (BSL)
Aberdeen City Council has access to BSL Interpreters for customers requiring this service.
British Sign Language (BSL) users can contact us direct by using ContactSCOTLAND-BSL.
Alternatively you can use the Next Generation Text Service also known as Text Relay by dialling 18001 + the required telephone number listed on Our "Contact Us" page.
Audio
Audio induction loops are in place at all Aberdeen City Council Offices.
