Aberdeen City Council has a range of temporary accommodation available if you are:
- awaiting a homelessness assessment decision
- assessed as homeless or threatened with homelessness
- awaiting a decision on a case review
We have over 350 temporary furnished flats available around the city for homeless people.
We have an Accommodation Unit at West North Street which provides accommodation in a building that has 20 self-contained bedsits with cooking, laundry and bathing facilities in each bedsit.
The Council will try to place you in temporary accommodation which is accessible to your work, school and family. However, given the pressures on the availability of appropriate accommodation this may not always be possible.
Housing and Support Officers are available to customers in all of our temporary accommodation to provide support where needed and to help with moving to permanent accommodation.
If you need to speak to someone about your temporary accommodation please phone 03000 200 292. We don’t offer a drop in service.
