Aberdeen City Council is consulting the public on the proposed relocation of Walker Road School and boundary changes for the catchment areas for the school and Tullos School.
The council is proposing to relocate the existing Walker Road School to a new primary school building at Tullos Circle, Aberdeen, with effect from 1 August 2023, or as soon as possible thereafter.
Amendments to the existing catchment areas are also proposed that would see all houses north of Balnagask Road and west of Mansfield Road permanently included within the Walker Road School catchment area, with effect from 1 August 2023.
The local authority is also proposing to alter the school catchment area for Tullos School, so that all houses which are north of Balnagask Road and east of Mansfield Road, and the area of land to the north and east of St Fittickās Road, are permanently included within the Tullos School catchment area.
The new catchment areas would also take effect from 1 August 2023.
