Qualification criteria
Council Tax only applies to people over the age of 18. If there are only people under 18 occupying the property then you won't need to pay council tax until any person in the property is 18.
Once you reach the age of 18 you will be liable to pay council tax. If you are aged 18 and have not yet received a Council Tax bill please contact the office as soon as possible.
If you are under 18 but have received a council tax bill, please contact us as soon as possible.
How to apply
You can apply for this online. You will need to upload a photograph or scan of birth certificate or passport for each person that live in the property who are under 18. Please have the documents to hand when you apply.
