Trade and Charity Stall Applications 

Applications are now open for Trade and Charity Stalls at the Aberdeen Highland Games on Sunday 15th June at Hazlehead Park.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 28th March 2025. 

Before applying for a stall space, please ensure you have read all the Trade and Charity Stalls Terms and Conditions.

 

The Aberdeen Highland Games has a separate procurement process for providers of food and drink that will be consumed by the public at the event (see examples listed below). This procurement process is carried out via the Public Contracts Scotland website.
Trade and Charity applications will only be considered if the food and drink provided is not covered as part of this procurement process.  It must be clear that the food and drink will not be consumed at the event and that the applicant meets all the terms and conditions.
 

Examples of some of the food and drink items that will not be considered for these trade and charity applications:
Ice Cream
Candy Floss
Desserts - Crepes, donuts and waffles etc
Hot and Cold Drinks
Fast Food - Burgers/Pies/Fish and Chips etc
Street Food - Rice/Noodles/Pizza etc
 

If you are a food of drink trader for any of the above or similar items and would like to be considered for inclusion in any future procurement processes for the Aberdeen Highland Games, please do not complete the application process and instead register here and contact cityevents@aberdeencity.gov.uk, confirming your interest and business details registered with PCS.

You will receive an email confirming acceptance as a trade/charity at the Highland Games and if you accept an invoice will be sent for the stall fee and any additional wristbands requested. Failure to make payment on time may result in your space being allocated to someone else from the waiting list.

No, stallholders are responsible for bringing their own gazebo and ensuring it is securely fixed to the ground.

All pitch spaces will have an additional 0.5m allocated on either side for the use of guy ropes only. The front guy ropes must not protrude into the public walkway.

No power is provided to stalls, if you require power you will have to provide your own silent diesel generator (see 20 on Terms and Conditions).

No; all stalls must be setup on Sunday 15 June 2025, access to the event site will be from 7:00-9:00am. Access for stallholders after 9:00am will only be permitted if traders and charities are able to walk in from the public car park. No overnight stays are allowed. 

Each stallholder is given up to 4 event wristbands in advance of the event allowing access for their staff at the event entry gates. Staff arriving by car can use the free public car park.

The event closes to the public at 5.30pm, when stall dismantling can begin, vehicle movement cannot take place until 6.00pm. If you wish to stop trading during the day please seek permission from the organiser.

All applications must be submitted by 5pm on Friday 28 March 2025.
