The city of Aberdeen is preparing to mark the King's Coronation with a celebration event to allow residents and visitors to the city the chance to take part in the historic celebrations.
The family celebration event will be held in Sunday 7 May at Duthie Park from 11.30am - 2.30pm.
This fun-filled event will feature live music from Iron Broo performed in the bandstand along with performances from The Grampian and District Pipes and Drums and The Rock Choir.
There will also be a range of free family activities for all ages, including face painting, a climbing wall, zorbs, movement evolution – agility course, wheelie fun - segways and other come and try activities.
The public are being asked to bring their own picnics; however, the Duthie Park Café will be open and can provide take-away food and beverages.
Limited parking is available in the area surrounding Duthie Park, and with large crowds expected, the public are being asked to consider using public transport or walking to the event where possible.
