Grants are available for not-for-profit community organisations in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire with an annual income under £50,000 to support climate action and biodiversity projects. The NESCAN Hub Seed Fund empowers local groups to tackle climate change and enhance biodiversity through community initiatives.
The fund is an opportunity for communities to suggest projects that aim to reduce the impact of climate change; protect biodiversity; build climate resilience; or raise awareness about climate issues. Priority is given to projects that create long-term change, build community capacity, encourage collaboration, and promote sustainability.
Managed by the North East Scotland Climate Action Network (NESCAN) Hub, the fund supports projects like reducing greenhouse gas emissions, enhancing local biodiversity, adapting to climate change, and raising awareness about climate action.
