Research Culture & Activities Baseline Evaluation
Working along with Aberdeen City Council (ACC) officers from People & Organisation Development, we conducted a baseline evaluation during Summer 2023, aiming to measure the current research activities among officers and elected members and their view on the research culture within ACC. Given that most respondents expressed that training and continued professional development was the most frequent research-related activity they participated in, we are intending to review the existing research trainings and materials available to officers and elected members and develop new online short courses and in-person workshops with local academics. Moreover, we aim to facilitate work and research collaborations between officers and elected members and local academics.
