Aberdeen Net Zero and Adaptation Board
The Aberdeen Net Zero and Adaptation Board provides expertise, advice, and scrutiny to support the city transition to net zero and to increase climate resilience.
This is not the start of collaboration on climate change in Aberdeen - a range of public, private and community organisations participated in the Net Zero Leadership Board which drove direction for the Net Zero Aberdeen Routemap and in a Net Zero Delivery Unit which co-created the 6 enabling theme strategies.
The Board has representation across multiple sectors and industries including Energy, Skills/Industry, Further Education, Mobility, Built Environment/Infrastructure, Natural Environment and increased Third sector, Community and Youth representation.
