Who we are
The Health Determinants Research Collaboration Aberdeen (HDRC Aberdeen) is one of the first wave of Health Determinants Research Collaborations funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research in 2022.
HDRC Aberdeen is led by Aberdeen City Council, in collaboration with The University of Aberdeen, Robert Gordon University, the Grampian Health Board (also known as NHS Grampian), and Public Partners.
Public Partners are members of the public who are co-applicants on the HDRC Aberdeen funding bid.
In addition to our public partners, each organisation within the Collaboration is represented by co-applicants who bring relevant expertise.
HDRC Aberdeen is funded for five years until October 2027.
