How we use your information
By participating in this consultation on the George Street Draft Mini-Masterplan you are helping Aberdeen City Council determine what is important to you and your communities in the George Street area. It is important that you are involved and aware of the regeneration changes proposed and that your opinions and needs shape the Mini-Masterplan area to support its future as a vibrant, attractive and connected part of the city centre.
Your responses to the consultation will help endorse the place-based strategy and the project details proposed in the Draft Mini-Masterplan. You will not be identified as a named individual but if you do provide comments, and we hope that you do, we may use them in our reporting.
How long we keep your information
Responses will be kept until we complete the analysis of the responses which will be used to inform decisions on the content of the Draft Mini-Masterplan. The results of the consultation will be reported to Council to inform their decision making and will be kept permanently.
Your rights
You have rights in relation to your data, including the right to ask for a copy of it. You also have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you think we have not handled your data properly.
Our legal basis
Aberdeen City Council is the Data Controller for your information. Wherever we process personal data we must have a legal basis in data protection law for doing so. The Council’s legal basis for this processing is that it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of the official authority vested in the Council. In doing so, we are also likely to process special categories of personal data about you. The Council’s legal basis for doing so is that it is necessary for reasons of substantial public interest.
